Peter Joseph Darcy Sr.

On January 7, 2018, Peter Joseph Darcy Sr. passed away at the age of 76. Born in New York, Pete lived in Severn for 15 years and, prior to that, he resided in Millersville.  He proudly served his county as a member of the United States Army.  He then worked as a regional manager for a medical company. An avid golfer, he was a member of the “Geezers” and enjoyed playing golf at Compass Pointe, as well as Fort Meade and the Walden Golf Club.

Pete is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Mary Jane Darcy (nee Elder); beloved children Peter J. Darcy Jr. and his wife Nicole and Christine O’Brien and her husband Philip and five cherished grandchildren.  He was predeceased by brothers Robert & Paul Darcy, his parents Martin and Catherine Darcy and his step-mom Kay Darcy.
