Mr. Paul J. "Ski" Demasky Sr., 75 of Severn, died Monday September 27, 2010. He was the husband of 53 years to Mrs. Donna L. Demasky.
Born November 3, 1934 in Exeter, New Hampshire. He was the son of the late Joseph W. and Veronica Demasky.
Mr. Demasky, along with his wife, were long time residents of the Odenton and Severn community. Mr. Demasky was known for his patriotism. He served his country, with pride, in the United States Navy and retired after 20 years in 1973. He additionally was an active member of NCVA, the US Naval Cryptologic Veterns Association. Mr. Demasky was a sports enthusiast, enjoyed traveling and solving mind puzzles. These all took place second to following his beloved grandchildren on their various activities including sports and music in many states and countries.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Demasky is survived by his daughters, Cheryl Dempster of Cape Coral, FL., Karen Bowne and husband Jim of New Market and his son Paul Jr. and wife Jodi of Glen Burnie, his eight grandchildren, Amy, Jennifer, James, Tyler, Derek, Caitlyn, Meghan and Andrew, five great grandchildren, his brother Richard Demasky and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Mr. Demasky was preceded in death by one brother, Mr. Wayne Demasky.
Visitation with family will be on Thursday September 30, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday October 1, 2010 at 10:00 AM from the funeral home. Interment will be at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery at Crownsville.
