Norman King Harvey, a resident of Odenton, MD, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, MD. He was 68. Norman was born on November 1, 1947 in Poughkeepsie, NY and was the son of the late King Harvey and Mary (McKinnon) Harvey.
Norman was a resident of Crofton/Odenton for 40 years. Prior to his employment with the Federal Government for 35 years, he served in the U.S. Army. He was a faithful member of New Dimensions Church and enjoyed serving others through ministry.
Norman is survived by his beloved wife, Juanita Harvey of Odenton, MD; loving daughters, Nina Braxton and husband, Shawn of Peachtree City, GA and Jennel Lockley and husband, Donald of Silver Spring, MD; devoted brother, Henry Harvey of Southern, MD; six cherished grandchildren, Avery, Aryssa, Soret, Shawn, Jianni and Judah.
The family will receive friends at the Mt. Jezreel Baptist Church, 420 E. University Blvd., Silver Spring, MD 20901 from 10:00am to 11:00am. A Going Home Celebrations will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at MD Veterans Cemetery Crownsville, MD
