Morris "Cal" Carlin Caillouet of Clinton, MD, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Southern Maryland Hospital Center in Clinton, MD, at the age of 83. Cal was born on January 14, 1928 in Opelousas, LA to the late Louis Maurice Caillouet and Mary Ladora (Banta) Caillouet.
Cal attended Louisiana State University in 1944-1945 before enlisting in the United States Army in 1946. He was honorably discharged in 1947 with the rank of Corporal. Cal completed college at Southwestern Louisiana Institute, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1951. After graduating he was commissioned into the United States Air Force as a Second Lieutenant and was honorably discharged in 1966 with the rank of Captain.
Cal was appointed to the United States Secret Service, Technical Security Division in 1968 and retired as a Senior Security Specialist in 1985. He served under Presidents Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter and Reagan.
Cal is survived by his three children, Glenn C. Caillouet and his wife, Rebecca, Elizabeth Ann Symborski and her husband, Carl and Kevin P. Caillouet and his wife, Christine and six grandchildren, Paul C. Caillouet, Jacqueline A. Caillouet, Laura M. Symborski, Michael W. Symborski, Jonathan P. Caillouet and Matthew D. Caillouet. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Mae (Taylor) Caillouet.
