Milton Lee Cox, Jr.

February 4, 1935 — October 24, 2012

Retired T/Sgt Milton L. Cox, Jr. of Jessup, MD formally of Hanover, MD, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 from cancer. Milton was born February 4, 1935 in Washington, DC and was the son of the late Milton and Silvia Cox.
Milton graduated from Suitland High school in 1953. He served in the United States Air Force from 1953 to 1973 when he retired. He also worked for N & N Contractor, Inc. were he retired in February of 2003. He loved playing softball, and was on a Sr. Softball League.
Milton is preceded in death by one great grandchild.
Milton is survived by his loving wife Sharon Cox; three children, Michael Cox, Deanna Connelly and husband Larry and Linda Linderman; six grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two step daughters, Angela Henry and Alexis McLain; three step grandchildren; one step great grandchild; two special cousins, Georgette Fredrick and Joan Sarqies and a very special friend Paul Mulhare.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 27, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and Sunday, October 28, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm and 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road Odenton, MD where a funeral service will be held Monday, October 29, at 12:45pm. Interment services will follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery Crownsville, MD.
