Michelle Hanook Welch

Michelle Hanook Welch, a resident of Fort Meade, MD, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. She was 34. Michelle was born on February 11, 1988 in Honolulu, Hawaii and was the daughter of Hanook Yaqoob and Stella (nee Nizamuldin) Yaqoob.

Michelle was a loving mother and a compassionate human being. Michelle’s favorite thing to do was make people laugh. She had a magnetic personality that allowed her to effortlessly make friends by lighting up the entire room. Michelle made it a priority to make sure other people were comfortable and fed and felt welcome, always putting them before herself. She loved to be silly with her daughters, travel, go on road trips, and make lasting memories. Her heart and compassion caused a ripple effect that touched so many lives.

Along with her parents, Michelle is survived by her beloved husband, Creed Welch; two cherished daughters, Asha and Naina Welch; devoted brother, Anosh Yaqoob; loving sister, Roheeni Yaqoob Wadsworth (Josh).

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113. Memorial Service will begin at 12:00 pm. Interment will be Private.
