Michelle Lea (Cavey) Barrett

On August 10, 2017, Michelle Lea Barrett (nee Cavey), passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.  Born in Annapolis, Maryland, Michelle has lived in Gambrills since 2005 and prior to that she resided in Ferndale.  Beloved wife of 21 years to Steve G Barrett; devoted mother of Matthew S. Barrett and Andrew S. Barrett; loving daughter of Kenneth Sr. and Joann Cavey; caring sister of Kennth Jr.; cherished sister-in-law of Sharon Abrams.  She is also survived by many loving family members and dear friends.

Michelle obtained her Masters of Science in Information and Telecommunication from Johns Hopkins University in 1997.  She worked as a Program Manager for the Department of Defense for 32 years.  She was an avid Disney fan and loved her family trips to Disney World.  More than anything, she loved spending time with her family, especially watching her sons play baseball.
