Michael “Mike” Alan Murakami, a dedicated husband and loving father, passed away suddenly at his home. Mike was born on July 13, 1962, in Baltimore, MD, and is the son of Anne Kathleen and the late Raymond Reichard.
Mike was a devoted mechanic and owner of Auto Doctor in Gambrills, MD for 41 years. Mike was always an amazing problem solver and handyman. He loved fishing, camping, and spending time with his grandkids. He never failed to make everyone around him laugh and always tried to see the positive in everything.
Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy; two loving sons, Anthony and Andrew, cherished grandchild, Lucas; devoted sisters, Denise Arnold (husband Jerry) and Amy Wilson (husband Bobby); many beloved nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. on Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The Memorial Service will begin at 6:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mike's name to the Wounded Warrior Project or the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Odenton, 8397 Piney Orchard Way, Odenton, MD 21113.
