Michael Anthony Merritt

Michael Anthony Merritt, a resident of Crofton, MD, passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at his home. He was 56. Michael was born on December 10, 1964 in Washington, DC and was the son of Robert Merritt and the late Rosealie Merritt.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Karen Merritt; three loving children Marcus Merritt (Ashley) Corey and Aaron Merritt; devoted brother, Mitchell Merritt (Kimberlynn); two caring sisters, Misha Merritt and Amanda Stewart (Alvin); four adorable grandchildren, Marcus, Kamara, Myles and Mahlea; two faithful nephews, Mitchell Merritt, Jr. Alan Stewart..

The family will receive friends at the Woodstream Church, 9800 Lottsford Road, Bowie, MD 20721 on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 10:30 am to 11:00 am where the Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 am. Interment will follow to Ft. Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD.
