Meagan Nicole Cuellar, affectionately known as “Mea bella,” was born May 5, 1987, in Montgomery County, Maryland to parents Carlos E. Cuellar and Tamara F. Powell. She departed this life suddenly on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. Meagan was educated in Anne Arundel County public schools and graduated in 2005. While attending school, she was active and enjoyed the Step Squad. Some of her many hobbies included cooking and working in the service industry. She participated in hosting events at Maryland Live Casino, the Baltimore Ravens Stadium, and an event for Vice President Kamala Harris. Her true passion in life was hair. From a young girl, she would do everyone’s hair that she could. She whole heartedly believed in all natural products; she even made her own oils. Her last place of employment was La Bella Hair and Beauty Studio where she was an apprentice. Some of her other hobbies included modeling; she was even featured in a JCPenney ad campaign around the age of five, that led her to attend Barbizon Modeling School. Meagan was not tied to a specific religion but was very spiritual. She believed in positive energy, she believed in the Most High. Meagan was preceded in death by her nephew, Rashawn Waysome, Jr., grandmother, Maria Cuellar; cousin, Erica Fugate; uncle Kaavon Purnell; brother-in-law, Rashawn Waysome, Sr., aunt, Sherrell Purnell. Left to celebrate her life and cherish her memory are, her mother, Tamara F. Powell (Charles), her father Carlos E. Cuellar; her siblings, Bianca Cuellar (Saah), and Maria Cuellar; her grandfather, Herbert Purnell, Sr., (Pammy), grandmother Geraldine Dale; nieces, Ariana Perez, and Dazani Waysome, great-neice, Nayeli Perez-Maxwell; nephews, Cesar (Papi) Perez, and Anthony Waysome, and a host of other cousins, relatives, and friends.
