Mary Ellen Wolfe

MARY ELLEN WOLFE, age 89, of Laurel passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019.

She was born on March 2, 1930 to Walter J. Tucker and Clara May Tucker in Covington, Virginia.

Mary was one of the founding members of Community Baptist Church which is now known as Grace Pointe Baptist Church.

She retired from Providence Center in Severna Park, Maryland where she drove a school bus and worked with the handicapped.

She enjoyed her family and Grandchildren.  Mary also liked to travel.

Mary is survived by her children, Joel Wolfe and wife Lynn, Sharon Shields and husband Donald, Grandchildren; Joel Jr. and wife Stefanie, Donald III and wife Amanda, Christopher and wife Ashley.  She also has four Great Grandchildren, Kamren, Dylan, Caleb and Kendall.  Mary is also survived by her sister, Patricia Moran.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband Grover Wolfe and parents, Walter and Clara Tucker also brothers Walter (June) Tucker and Roscoe Tucker, sisters; Ethel Bess and Phyllis Paxton.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 5-8 pm at the Donaldson Funeral Home and Crematory, 1411 Annapolis Rd, Odenton, MD 21113.  A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 17, 2019 in the chapel of the Donaldson Funeral Home and Crematory at 11:00 am.  Interment will immediately follow at Maryland National Memorial Park, 13300 Baltimore Ave, Laurel, MD 20707.
