On October 23, 2015, Mary E. “Molly” Knepp of Odenton passed away at the age of 67.   Devoted wife of 43 years to Wayne A. Knepp; Beloved mother of Amanda Scanlon and her husband Wayne (Falls Church, VA); Caring sister of Judy O’Neill (VA), Patricia Murray (Westminster), Chuck Cobey (Finksburg), Kevin Cobey (Westminster) and the late Billy Cobey.

Molly worked as a teller for 20 years for Maryland National Bank.  She then worked for Wayson’s Construction as a bookkeeper and later for McKee Realty as as a bookkeeper and receptionist.  She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Upper Marlboro Fire Department and a volunteer for the Odenton Senior Center.  Molly was known for her delicious cooking and baking and often contributed to the bake sales at Nichols-Bethel UMC in Odenton.  She enjoyed gardening, spending time at Myrtle Beach every year, and spoiling her two grand-dogs Bones and Harley Quinn.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Molly’s name may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy., Pasadena, MD 21122.  Thank you.
