Mary Lee Dymicki, a resident of Severn, MD, passed away on Saturday, June 06, 2020 at her home. She was 79.  Mary Lee was born on December 06, 1940 in Maryland and was the daughter of Raymond Newton and Christina.

Mary Lee was a part of every life she touched.  She retired after 40 yrs. at Northrup-Grumman, formerly Westinghouse.  She worked as a cashier and had contact with many employees.  Many lifelong friendships resulted.  Her home in Severn was a popular site for gatherings for family and friends.  She reached out and spoke to everyone she met and became friends with staff and several restaurants and stores.  Mary Lee stayed as active as she could in retirement.  She planned numerous trips with the Northrup Grumman Veteran’s Association.  Mary Lee loved her family and extended grandchildren and was glad to have such a family.  She gave whatever she could to anyone she knew that needed help.

Mary Lee is survived by her niece, Lisa Mallary, husband Joe and son, Matthew, (Severn), first cousins Sandy Rathjen (Kutcta) of NC and Howard and Anna Claire Kuchta of OK.  Mike Neal, wife Tanya, children Elissa, Jake, and Tyler of NC, Rich Neal  and Ben Stringfellow of IL, Jeff Neal of NC, and Steve and Cha Neal of AZ.  She is preceded in death by husband Walter J. Dymicki and soulmate Melvin Leroy Wittmann.  Although she had no children, she loved that she  finally had grandchildren and great grandchildren from Melvin’s family.
