Martha C. (Schultz) Monday

On December 16, 2022, Martha C. Monday passed away peacefully at the age of 82.  Devoted wife of 57 years to the late George Monday; loving mother of Charlotte Molitoris, Joseph “Joe” Monday, and Maria Nicholson; caring sister of James Schultz and Jacky Federici; adoring grandmother of Ashley Sampson, Lance Sampson, Jordan Monday, and Austin Nicholson; cherished great-grandmother of Violet Sampson.  Martha was predeceased by four siblings.

Martha was an active member of Odenton Baptist Church.  She also volunteered for many years with her husband at the Karis Home, a Baltimore Rescue Mission.  She really loved movies and movie stars, especially John Wayne. She loved birds, flowers and beautiful sunny days when she could sit out on her porch. More than anything, Martha loved all people everywhere, not just her family. No one crossing her path could help but be touched by her gentle kindness, warm smile and eyes full of light and God’s love.
