Marion M. Powell

Marion M. Powell (Shauna) of Odenton, MD, formerly of Midlothian, VA, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at her home. She was 89. Marion was born on September 2, 1930 in Bronx, NY and was the daughter of the late Sean and Mary McCarthy.

Marion was truly an angel sent from heaven who worked her entire life to make other’s lives more meaningful. She loved God and her family with every bone in her body. Marion was always the first to offer a helping hand and unconditional support to anyone lucky enough to know her as well as those she had never met. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, generous spirit and love of hot dogs, Swiss Rolls, Oreos, PBJs and her home land, Ireland.

Marion is survived by her beloved son, William G. Powell (Tracey) of Odenton, MD; four loving grandchildren, Christopher, Danielle, Jesse and Kaitlyn ; cherished sister, Joan Brillaud (Andre) of NC; devoted brother in law, Dennis Powell of CO. Marion was preceded in death by her husband, William.
