Marilyn Hlavay

Marilyn Hlavay, born on March 3, 1946 in McDonald, Pennsylvania, to the late Andrew and Anna Svihla, passed away at age 72 on March 25, 2018.  Beloved wife of Joseph Hlavay, devoted mother of Kevin Hlavay and Shawn “Chris” Hlavay; cherished grandmother of Jen, Claire, and Tyler.  Marilyn enjoyed cleaning the pool, gardening, doing yardwork, taking vacations, watching the weather channel, attending baseball games, and most especially spending time with her grandkids. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake.  Marilyn will live forever in our hearts.

Friends and family can pay their respects at the memorial service on Thursday, March 29, at 11:30 AM at Lakemont Memorial Gardens, 900 West Central Avenue, Davidsonville, MD.  Following the service there will be a repast at 12:00 PM at Renditions Golf Course, 1380 West Central Avenue in Davidsonville.
