Margareta Maria (Prochaska) Houle

On December 17, 2022, Margareta "Peggy" Maria Houle of Odenton passed away at the age of 94.  Devoted wife of 58 years to the late Jean M. Houle; loving mother of Eric Houle; cherished mother-in-law of Darcy Houle and Eva Houle; adoring grandmother of Michael, Natalie, and Thomas Houle.  She was predeceased by her parents Johann and Anna Prochaska and her son Andre Houle.

Born in Vienna, Austria, Peggy enjoyed traveling and, having married a military man, the family often traveled to new places.  They lived in Shawinigan Falls (Canada), Yokohama (Japan), Oberammagau (Germany), Munich (Germany), Orleans (France), Laurel (Maryland), and finally settling in Odenton (Maryland).  Peggy also enjoyed gardening and macrame.

Peggy will be laid to rest with her husband Jean at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
