Lydia C. Bundy

Lydia C. Bundy, a resident of Severn, MD, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2012 at the Mandrin Inpatient Care Center in Harwood, MD. She was 55. Lydia was born on September 13, 1956 in Washington, D.C. and is the daughter of Philippa Ann Rodes Schanke and the late Wayne Schanke.

Never one to stand still, Lydia lived each day to the fullest. She loved art, natural beauty, flowers, and wildlife small and large. West coast travel and vacationing in New Mexico were just some of Lydia's travel places. At home she was a loving wife, homemaker, stay at home mom, gardener, artist, avid reader of novels who loved life. As the end approached she fought for every minute of life just to stay here with us. I will miss her touch and smile very much.

Lydia is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Bundy of Severn, MD; mother, Philippa Ann Schanke; sisters, Kathrine Ward and Evelyn Sarver; brothers, Philip and Edward Schanke; father in law; brother and sister in law and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Friday, March 30, 2012 from 5pm to 7pm. A Memorial Service will be held at 7 pm. Interment will be private.
