Lucille E. Doney
October 3, 1922 — March 14, 2015
On Saturday March 14, 2015, Lucille E. Doney passed away peacefully at the age of 92. A resident of Odenton, she was born in Coal Township, Pennsylvania. Devoted wife of 35 years to the late James H. Doney Sr.; Beloved mother of Sally A. Erdil of Houston, Texas, and Lori A. Bruther of Odenton and the late James Doney Jr.; Caring sister of Betty Geary of Baltimore; Cherished grandmother of Cem Erdil, Erin Erdil, James Doney III, James Haupt, Robert Haupt, and Kyle Bruther; Adoring great-grandmother of Rachel Erdil and Sean Erdil. She was predeceased by her siblings Evelyn Macalady, Shirley Shuey, Gladys Wiloughby, and Robert Snyder.
A homemaker, Lucille loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking and baking and spoiling her late dog “Mijo”.
