Loraine (Cox) Burchett

On March 30, 2019, Loraine Burchett went home to be with the Lord. Born in Roper, North Carolina, she lived most recently in Ellicott City, Maryland.  She graduated from Washington County High School and worked for Chase Manhattan Bank. She enjoyed bowling and singing in her church choir.  She survived by her husband of 56 years, Donald Burchett; son Steven Burchett and his wife Lori, her grandson Steven Lamar and two great grandsons Sincere & Cameron; her siblings Elaine Munson (Greenville, NC), Linda Norman (Roper, NC), Lendora Armstrong (Williamstown, NC), and Sonja Swain (Riley, NC) and Ronnie Cox. She was predeceased by her parents James Sr. and Della Cox, her brother James Cox Jr. and her sister Evone Bell.  She is also survived by many other loving family members and dear friends.
