Linda Diane (Lathe) Funkhouser

Linda Diane Funkhouser of Millersville, MD, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at her residence, at the age of 68.  Linda was born on June 30, 1947 in Baltimore, MD to the late David Hamil Lathe and Ella Mae (Sonnenleiter) Lathe.

Linda was a resident of Anne Arundel County, MD her entire life, she married; and had two children with her husband of 50 years. They raised their children in Anne Arundel County.

She retired after 30 years of service as an Anne Arundel County School Cafeteria Manager in 2002.  She lived for her family and she loved to RV camp all over the United States.  She enjoyed many trips out of the country with family and friends.  Linda also enjoyed many trips with her family to Disney World.

Linda was a soft spoken lady with a heart of gold. Her love for life; and her family will live on in the desire and passion she bestowed in her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren.  Our family's love for Linda will never be tarnished by the test of time.  If all of the people in the World were like Linda there would only be PEACE and Caring for everyone.

Linda is survived by her husband of 50 years, Tony L. Funkhouser; daughter, Terry Martin; son, Brian Funkhouser; grandchildren, Christina Bartram and Kaitlyn Marie Funkhouser; great grandchildren, Brianna and Alayna Bartram; sisters, Sherry Williams, Dawn Netzer and Melody Jordan and her brother, Ronald Lathe. In addition to her parents Linda was preceded in death by her beloved grandson, Justin Martin.

The family will receive friends at Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Monday, November 23, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.  A committal service will be held at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, MD at 1:00 p.m.
