Leon Wayne Powell

On April 27, 2014, Leon Wayne Powell Jr. passed away at the age of 77. Born in Washington, D.C., Wayne lived in Odenton, Maryland since 1975 and was a self-employed accountant. He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Nancy Y. Powell (nee Lane); his son W. Andrew "Andy" Powell and his wife Kim of Gambrills and his daughter Christine Y. Jackson and her husband Stephen of Gambrills; and his grandsons Brian A. and Kevin M. Powell.
Wayne was a longtime member of the Nichols-Bethel United Methodist Church in Odenton. He enjoyed stamp collecting, scale modeling and was a train enthusiast.
