Leander Henry Garrett
December 7, 1930 — January 6, 2018
On January 6, 2018, Leander Henry Garrett of Odenton, previously of Baltimore, passed away at Baltimore Washington Medical Center at the age of 87. Beloved father of Noland Garrett of Odenton and Everett Garrett of Georgia; caring brother of Joseph Garrett and Lulabell Garrett; cherished grandfather of three and great-grandfather of one. He was predeceased by his sons Dolan and Roland Garrett and seven siblings.
Leander proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force for 23 years before retiring. He then went to work as an Administrative Supervisor for the Department of Corrections for another 20 years before retiring for the final time. He enjoyed smoking his cigars, listening to country music, and was known to be a ‘gadget guy’. Most especially, Leander just enjoyed being around his family and friends.
