On February 27, 2023, Kristin “Kristi” M. Wooding passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was 49. Beloved wife of 13 years to Jeremy L. Wooding; devoted mother of Megan, Wyatt, Nathanael, Brenna, and Lillian; cherished grandmother of Bentley and Elsa. Kristi is also survived by her step mother Comilla, and siblings Erica, Carissa, Colt, Robert, Dawn, and Jeff.
Born in California, Kristi met Jeremy while he was stationed in Washington. After a brief courtship, they started on a whirlwind journey together that “only got better as the years went on”. A homemaker, Kristi loved spending time with her family. Artistic by nature, she enjoyed scrapbooking, crocheting, and picture framing. Her natural talent was obvious with everything she created. She enjoyed traveling the world with her husband. They traveled all over Europe, and soaked in the beauty of many National parks. A former cyclist and avid fan, she was excited to be in France for the Paris-Roubaix. She explored many interests such as genealogy, geology, and was an avid reader. She enjoyed gaming and had aspired to be a video games designer. Passionate about camping and Scouting, she was not only a Cub Scout and BSA leader, but a mentor to her fellow leaders as well. A woman of God, she was instrumental in establishing a Protestant Women of the Chapel homeschool room at the U.S. Army Garrison in Stuttgart. Gone too soon, Kristi will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
