Kevin A. Drummond

Kevin Antoine Drummond, a resident of Odenton, Maryland, departed this life on Sunday, May 19, 2024,

Kevin was born in Baltimore, Maryland on September 25, 1971 to Arlene and Willie Drummond.  He graduated from Howard High School in Ellicott City, MD in 1989.  Kevin attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where he graduated with a degree in Public Relations in 1993.

In 1993, Kevin's love of sports and writing, and his fresh public relations degree, provided him with a dream job with his hometown Baltimore Orioles. The highlight for Kevin that summer was working the MLB All-Star game at Camden Yards in Baltimore, where he stood side by side with some of the biggest names in baseball. Kevin would go on to work for a number of non-profit organizations including The Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind in Washington D.C, B'Nai B'Rith International in Washington D.C, Howard Community College in Columbia MD, and The Urological Association in Linthicum, MD.  Kevin was also a freelance writer for Prince George's Suite Magazine and Media, in National Harbor, MD

In his spare time, Kevin was an avid sports fan.  His love of the St. Louis Cardinals was well known among all those who knew and loved him.

He was also a member of Toastmasters International.

Kevin leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Willie and Arlene Drummond of Ellicott City, MD;  one brother Maurice Drummond (Brenda)  of St. Louis, MO; two nephews Christian and David Drummond of St. Louis, MO;  Lauren Littrell of St. Louis, MO, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. on Friday, May 31, 2024, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A  Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00 am.  Interment will be held at 1:00 pm at the Arbutus Memorial Park, 1101 Sulphur Springs Road, Arbutus, Maryland 21227.
