Ketan A. Patel

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Ketan Arvind Patel, 62, on Wednesday, March 6th, 2024. He leaves behind his loving family which include his parents, Arvind and Hemlata, his wife Smita, and children, Shivani and Amir.

Ketan was born in Ahmedabad, India and then moved to Nairobi, Kenya at a young age before coming to the United States in the 1970s. He received his education at University of Maryland, Baltimore County and further went on to complete his Doctorate of Pharmacy at University of Maryland School.

Ketan can be remembered for his unique way of making those around him smile, laugh and feel cared for. We will forever miss the light he brought into our lives.
