Kendall L. Grow

On November 30, 2014, Kendall Lee Grow of Jessup passed away at the age of 85. Devoted husband of 59 years to Dorothy O. Grow (nee Smith); Beloved father of James L. Grow and wife Gale of Lambsburg, VA and Mary F. Griffiths and husband Wayne of Pasadena, MD; Loving brother of Norman A. Grow of Fredericksburg, VA; Cherished grandfather of Brian Griffiths and wife Marie of Pasadena, Shane Gates of Mt. Airy, NC, Daniel Gates of Lambsburg, VA, and Nancy Throckmorton of Hampstead, NC; Adoring great-grandfather of 8. Ken was predeceased by his parents, 5 siblings and his granddaughter Julie Grow-Hundley. Ken proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force before retiring after 20 years of service as a Staff Sergeant. He then worked as a Camp Ranger at Rodney Scout Reservation in Northeast, MD. He also worked as a bus driver for Gold Line Bus Company in Washington, DC for 10 years and later was a Yard Foreman for Gardiner & Gardiner Construction Company. Ken loved spending time in his work shop working with wood.
