Julie Laxamana Corpus

Julie Laxamana Corpus, aged 29, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 31, 2013 at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Julie was born on July 11, 1983 in Pampanga, Philippines, the daughter of Leonardo C. Laxamana and Adoracion C. Meneses-Laxamana.

Julie is a loving mother to her two beautiful children, Jefferson and Julianna, and a loyal and dedicated spouse to Rodeleo Corpus. Julie was born and raised in the Philippines and moved to Guam along with her whole family while in her teens. She enjoyed cooking, sightseeing, and spending quality time with her family. Julie was very well liked by everyone she met during her lifetime. She has always been a happy-go-lucky type of person. She will be best remembered as the jokester by her family and friends.

Along with her parents, Julie is survived by her loving husband of five years, Rodeleo T. Corpus; two beloved children, Jefferson L. Batac and Julianna L. Corpus; six sisters, Sarah Jane Tolentino and husband, Rocky Tolentino, Mildred Duque and husband, Lauro Duque, Lorraine Hicban and husband, Romy Hicban, Jubilyn Pineda and husband, Romy Pineda, Jenneth Delgado and husband, Mel Delgado, and Joy Cammayo and husband, Brian Cammayo; father-in-law, Leonardo Corpus; mother-in-law and husband, Rosetta Graham and Michael Scott Graham; two brothers-in-law, Michael Sebastian Graham and Leonard Corpus; sister-in-law, Dalia Manaois; nieces and nephews, Khalil Cammayo III, Daryl Ann Duque, Dianne Duque, Danica Duque, Jhemelyn Laxamana, Mel Delgado, Jr., Carmela Delgado, Jovan Pineda, Jomielyn Pineda, Jacob Pineda; and countless other relatives and close friends. Julie is preceded in death by her brother, Edwin Laxamana, and nephew Joseph Pineda.

The family will receive friends and family at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Thursday, June 6, 2014 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A Mass of a Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Philippines at a later date. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society. The family of Julie Corpus wishes to thank family, friends, andespecially the countless nurses, doctors and other medical personnel at Baltimore Washington Medical Center Critical Care Unit.
