Julia Pearl (Null) Lamar

Julia Pearl “Judy” LaMar, a resident of Columbia, MD passed away Monday, June 15, 2015, at the Gilchrist Hospice Center in Columbia, MD.  She was 63.  Julia was born on August 16, 1951 in Washington, D.C. and was the daughter of the late Annie Miller Null. Julia worked for Verizon until her retirement.  Julia also worked for Arbitron and worked as a home health aide for many years.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was an avid reader.  Julia especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren participate in their sports activities. Julia is survived by her loving children Roland E. LaMar, Jr. and wife Traci of Severn, MD and Lisa A. LaMar and husband Bobby Canner of Columbia, MD.   She is also survived by her three grandchildren Tiffany Love, Bradley LaMar and Meagan LaMar; three great-grandchildren Briana, Colton and Kennedi; and nephew Victor Null and wife Pam and their children and grandchildren. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.  Interment will be private.
