Juanita Xiomara Hamlett Mandell Patel

Juanita Xiomara Hamlett Mandell Patel was born on April 13, 1962 in Puerto Limón, Costa Rica and passed away on March 4, 2026. Juanita lived a life full of love and care for everyone she encountered, and traveled the world every chance she had. Juanita is survived by her mother Joan, husband Prashant, her sons C and Darshan, along with her siblings, Delma, Juan, Denis, Joy, Hina, Mario, and she joins her father Sidney, and her brothers Sidney, Arnold, and Ricardo in Heaven.

Services will be held at Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. in Odenton on Wednesday March 11, 2026 at 11am. Juanita’s family is accepting floral arrangements, but encourages donations to Feed the Kids Foundation, helping families who may not be able to afford school lunches, a cause she cared deeply for.
