Joseph Bernard Luers

Joseph B. Luers, Sr., a resident of Odenton, MD, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2011 at Crofton Care & Rehabilitation Center in Crofton, MD at the age of 85. Joseph was born on March 24, 1926 in Oella, Maryland and was the son of the late Peter B. Luers and Mary Elizabeth Selhorst Luers.
Joseph was a dedicated husband and father, and a hard-working Tastykake salesman for over 20 years. He has enjoyed his retirement in Florida, Delaware and finally Odenton.
Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Anna B. Luers of Odenton, MD; two loving sons, Joseph B. Luers, Jr. of Severn, MD and Philip J. Luers and his wife Anne of Severna Park, MD; dear brother, Martin Roland Luers, of Easton, MD; two grandchildren, Jeremy and Juliet Luers of Severna Park, MD.
The family will receive friends at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Friday, August 26, 2011 from 6pm to 7pm. A Memorial Service will be held at 7pm. Interment will be private.
