Joseph George Bundy
February 26, 1956 — June 30, 2016
Joseph George Bundy of Severn, MD, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016. Joseph was born on February 26, 1956 in Mineola, NY and was the son of Joseph J. Bundy and the late Joan C. Bundy.
Joseph spent his summers growing up in Port Washington at the family beach house. He loved the water and lived on the Potomac in a 35 foot Chris Craft while attending night school at George Washington University to become a civil engineer. He worked for the D.C. Metro transit system for numerous years. Joseph enjoyed mechanics, woodworking, music and all outdoor activities. He will be remembered as a caring husband, son, brother and uncle.
In addition to his mother Joseph was preceded in death by his loving wife of 16 years Lydia Bundy.
Joseph is survived by his father, Joseph Bundy; two sisters, Susan Bundy-Myrow and her husband David of Buffalo, NY and Patricia Goldberg and her husband Harvey of Seaford, NY; three brothers, Thomas Bundy and his wife Patricia of Port Jefferson Station, NY, Jack Bundy and his fiancé Brenda Davis of Helmetta, NJ and James Bundy of Seattle, WA; five nieces and nephews, Emily Myrow, Zachary Myrow, Thomas Bundy, Jr., Jennifer Bundy-Santully and her wife Sara and Rachael Goldberg and one great nephew, Wyatt Santully.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road Odenton, MD 21113. Interment services will be private.
