John Joseph Owens

John Joseph Owens of Severn, MD passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at the age of 90. John was born on February 4, 1926 in Scranton, PA and was the son of the late Irvin and Mary Owens.

John served his country proudly as a member of the United States Navy. He was a WWII Veteran and was a part of the Navy Yeoman Second Class. After his military career John retired as an insurance agent for Prudential.

John is survived by his loving son, John C. Owens and his wife Elizabeth A. Owens; one beloved sister, Evelyn Estell and two cherished grandchildren, Meghan E. Owens and John W. Owens.
