John W. O'Connor

On Thanksgiving, November 24, 2022; John William O'Connor of Odenton, loving father of Joyce John O'Connor, passed away of natural causes at the age of 77.  John was born in Baltimore, MD on February 9, 1945 and then resided in Odenton for over 70 years.

John was preceded in death by his late father and mother; John J. and Margaret Evelyn of Odenton.  He was also predeceased in 1975 by his brother Jimmy of Odenton who was a member of Odenton Fire Department.  He is survived by his brothers Joseph Lee O'Connor (Edgewater, Florida), Martin Thomas O'Connor (Pasadena, MD) and sisters Elizabeth Anne Day (Pasadena, MD) and Mary Carol O'Connor (Odenton, MD).  He is also survived by Lisa Day (Pasadena, MD), Lori Ann Gentile nee Day (Pasadena, MD) and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

John was a graduate of AHS of Gambrills, MD, a veteran of the Air Force, a Vietnam survivor who was 100% disabled through VA.  In his latent years he enjoyed gardening and the Baltimore Orioles.
