John D. Kilner

John DeSales Kilner, loving husband of Belinda Kilner (nee Souder) for 35 years, and father to Kellye Kilner, father-in-law to her husband Adam Dabrowski, and grandfather to his beloved Anabel, passed away on February 24, 2019 at home in Gambrills, MD after a battle with brain cancer.  John is also survived by a sister, Mary-Kay Kilner of Gambrills, and a brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Eileen Kilner of Arlington, VA.  John was the youngest son of John I. and Mary C. Kilner of Rehoboth, DE, both deceased.  He was a fantastic husband, loving and tender dad, doting granddad, and a faithful brother. He loved his family mightily and helping people fix things was his hobby. A true Harley man, he enjoyed cruising around on his Night Train with his beloved Belinda either holding on or on her own trike in her pink leathers.  John loved to laugh, and was always ready with a joke or to tease anyone in a playful manner. He was a lifelong metal-head, but his heart was made of pure gold.  We will miss him dearly.  He rests now in the arms of Jesus.
