Jeanne M. Madarang

Jeanne M. Madarang, a resident of Odenton, MD, passed away on April 29th, 2014 at the age of 70. Jeanne was born on April 15, 1944 in Washington, DC and was the daughter of the late Thomas Murray and Marian (Phelps) Murray.

Jeanne was a fun loving woman with sparkling blue eyes who had many passions. She worked for many years in the dental field including starting her own business of cephalometric tracing for orthodontists. When she wasn't 'doing xrays' she loved to watch tennis and enjoyed regular competitive matches with her husband Ben. Jeanne also loved fishing with her family when the weather turned warm. She was a talented artist and shared her joy for art with her granddaughters. She loved playing with her grandkids and never hesitated to get on the floor with her grandsons. Jeanne loved a good joke and loved to laugh but most of all, she loved being surrounded by her loving family.

Jeanne is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, Buenaventura Madarang of Odenton, MD; five loving children, Pat Madarang (Jennifer) of Pasadena, MD, Deanna Stasulli (Dan) of Severna Park, MD, Melbalynn Madarang (Peirce) of Darnestown, MD, Ben Madarang (Jaclin) of Severna Park, MD and Anessa Johnson (Dexter) of Severna Park, MD; devoted brother, Robert Murray of Cumberland, MD; devoted sister, Cathy Tappan of Altamont, IL; eleven cherished grandchildren, Bailey, Gabrielle, Brianna, Kaila, Amaya, Trey, Sammy, Brody, Tyson, Talon and Ben William.

The family will receive friends at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Sunday, May 4, 2014 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 10:30am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 4101 Norbeck Road, Rockville, MD 20853. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, MD. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital, P.O.
