Jeanette E. (Nehring) Sauerhoff

On September 24, 2016, Jeanette E. Sauerhoff (nee Nehring), age 85, passed away peacefully at home.  Born in Maryland, Jeanette lived in Severn for 65 years.  Devoted wife of the late James Gilbert; beloved mother of Patricia A. Jones (Crofton) and her husband Joseph, Jeffrey L. Sauerhoff (Severn), Mark S. Sauerhoff (Ridgely) and his wife Karen, Robin E. Rickard (Severn) and her husband Cliff, and the late Gilbert J. and Edward J. Sauerhoff;  loving sister of Bernadine Deville (Glen Burnie) and Bernard Nehring (Stevensville).  Jeanette was predeceased by two sisters and three brothers.  She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other loving family members and dear friends.

Jeanette was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Odenton.   She enjoyed crocheting, flower gardening, cooking and baking.  Most especially, she loved spending time with her family.

Jeanette also loved to feed people, so in that spirit those who wish to donate in her memory to the Anne Arundel County Food Bank and Resources (120 Marbury Drive, Crownsville, MD. 21032) are welcome to do so and it is greatly appreciated.  Thank you!
