Jatinder P. Sood

Jatinder Paul Sood, 85, of Woodstock passed away at his daughter’s residence surrounded by his family on October 7, 2021. He was born in Patiala, India and moved to the United States in 1970. He graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and worked for the State of Maryland for over 25 years until his retirement. He enjoyed gardening, politics and Hindi movies. But above all, he cherished every moment he had with his grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Uma Sood; children Bindu Bassi (Ashwani), Kavita Kumar (Ajay), Sherry Sood (Milan); 9 grandchildren, Anisha Bassi, Shivani Bassi (Vivek), Sunakshi Bassi, Shivum Kumar, Saahil Kumar, Soven Kumar, Supriya Kumar, Riya Sanghavi, and Arman Sanghavi.
