Mrs. Janet Jean Betters, 74 of Severn, died Saturday September 11, 2010. She was the wife of 52 years to Colonel (Ret.) Richard B. Betters.
Born September 28, 1935 in Marlboro, New York. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Ada Greiner.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Betters is survived by her son Richard C. Betters and wife Tracey, her daughter Lori J. Baugh and husband Kevin, her six grandchildren, Samantha, Kimberly, Brian, Natalie, Nicholas and Elaina, her sisters Gladys Cromie, Marion Malcolm and Lois Hepworth. She was additionally survived by many loving nieces, nephews and family.
Mrs. Betters was preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters.
Visitation with family will be on Friday September 17, 2010 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 10:00 AM from the funeral home.
Interment will be on Thursday October 7, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
