James "Gary" Garrett Henderson

James "Gary" Garrett Henderson, a resident of LaPlata, MD, passed suddenly on Saturday, April 6, 2013.

Gary was born on January 8, 1986 in Silver Spring, MD and was the son of James Harrell Henderson, Jr. of Lost City, WV and Mary (Culver) Toman and husband, Paul of La Plata, MD.

Gary was a journeyman electrician with Local 26. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and being outdoors. He was well respected by his co-workers and deeply loved by all family and friends.

Along with his parents, Gary is survived by his sisters, Krista Henderson of Mechanicsville, MD, Cari Toman of Mechanicsville, MD, Nicki Toman of La Plata, MD and Traci Nakagawa and husband, Kenny of Odenton, MD; paternal grandfather, James H. Henderson, Sr. of Sharpsburg, MD; maternal grandmother, Denise Culver of Laurel, MD; aunt, Cathy Akers and husband Chris of Brogue, PA; uncle, Robert Henderson of Sharpsburg, MD; uncle, Robert Tibbs of Luray, VA; uncle, Joseph Culver and wife, Sheryl of Laurel, MD; two nieces, Peyton Murphy of La Plata, MD and Zoey Nakagawa of Odenton, MD. Gary was preceded in death by his brother, Jonathan Henderson.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Monday, April 15, 2013 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm. A Memorial Service will be held in the Donaldson Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 12:00pm. Interment will be private.
