Jacob Lawrence Singleton
February 4, 1951 — April 25, 2017
On April 25, 2017, Jacob “Jake” Lawrence Singleton passed away at Baltimore Washington Medical Center at the age of 66. Born in Kentucky, he was a resident of Pasadena for 22 years. Devoted husband of 40 years to Kathleen “Kathey” Singleton (nee Duvall); beloved father of Erik C. Singleton and Emily S. Dimeler and her husband Josh. Jake is predeceased by one brother and sister, but is also survived by many loving family members and dear friends.
Jake worked as a carpet installer for Bode Floors for 20 years, and then worked another 22 years for Shoppers Food Warehouse in Severn. He belonged to the Lake Shore Baptist Church and the UFCW Local 27. He enjoyed watching professional wrestling and Family Feud. Jake also loved to sing and dance and enjoyed his scratch-offs.
