Jackie Lee Martin, Sr.

Jackie Lee Martin, Sr. a resident of Glen Burnie, MD, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023, at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center. He was 89. Jackie was born on September 04, 1933, in Berwind, WV and was the son of the late Dewitt Martin and Margaret (nee Hairston) Martin.

Jackie is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, loving sons, Jackie L. Martin, Jr. (Kari), Dwight C. Martin (Barbara), and Stephen A. Martin; sisters Sylvia Jeannine Martin and Kathalyn Jewell Brown (Emmanuel). He was preceded in death by his only daughter, Villa Marie (nee Martin) Cuffie; his brother John Talmadge Martin; his sisters Carol Jean Bennett, Wanda Lanelle Cathey, and Marilyn Patricia Thompson.

The family will receive friends at the Church at Seven Run, 8187 Telegraph Road, Severn, MD, 21144 on Thursday, July 27, 2023, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 pm. Interment will follow to Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD.
