Howard Reeves Duley

Howard Reeves Duley, a resident of Gambrills, MD of 39 years, passed away on Friday, February 3, at the age of 69. Howard was born July 13, 1942 in Washington, D.C. and was the son of the late Howard and Sophia Duley.
Howard worked in Washington, D.C. as a laboratory technician for National Geographic Society until he retired after 36 years. Following retirement Howard went back to work for Bass Pro Shop as a sales associate in the marine department, where he has worked for the last 10 years.
Howard enjoyed the outdoors, working on small projects around the house, and helping his customers while working at Bass Pro. Howard loved his time spent with his co-workers, his neighbors, his friends and family, and being the most wonderful Pop-Pop to his two granddaughters. Howard was a kind gentle soul with a heart of gold and he will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched.
Howard is survived by his wife of 42 years Sandra Jo Duley of Gambrills, MD; a daughter Theresa Dawn Bell of Thurmont, MD; a brother Wayne Duley of Charlottesville, VA; two granddaughters Katey and Kourtney Bell of Thurmont, MD; and a host of family members and friends.
A visitation will be held Monday, February 6 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm at Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. where a funeral service will take place Tuesday, February 7, at 10:00am. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
