Hessie Levern Harris

Hessie Levern Harris, a resident of Gambrills, MD, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the Quiet Manor Assisted Living in Bowie, MD. She was 76. Hessie was born on October 26, 1948, in Tarrytown, GA and was the daughter of the late Linton Harris and Hessie Mae (nee Roberson) Harris.

Hessie is survived by her beloved husband, Scott Kallman; brothers, Sterling Harris and Steven Harris; devoted cousin, Paula Ross Kearney; nieces, Traci Bush, Dyresha Harris, Brittany Harris, Megan Harris and Abby Harris; and a host of loving, caring cousins and relatives.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Monday, March 24, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The Memorial Service will begin at noon. Interment will be private.
