Harold Melvin Sheppard

Harold Melvin Sheppard, a resident of Severn, MD, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the age of 84 surrounded by his loving family. Harold was born on January 15, 1930 in Baltimore, MD, and was the son of the late Thomas Sheppard and Susie (Richardson) Sheppard.

Harold is survived by his four loving children; Harold Bernard Sheppard (Michelle) of Eldersburg, MD, Marian E. Sheppard (Bernard A. Smith) of Upper Marlboro, MD, John P. Sheppard of Gambrills, MD and Michele M. Harrison ( Donald J.) of Severn, MD; five cherished grandchildren, Duane A. Clark, Jr., Michiko A. Clark, Kayla M. Sheppard, Kyle J. Harrison and Bryce M. Harrison; and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Michiko Sheppard.

The family will receive friends at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD, 21113 on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 4 to 8pm. A Mass of Service will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 1283 Odenton Road, Odenton, MD 21113 at 9:00am. Interment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery on Tuesday, April 8, 2014.
