Grace Campbell, 88 of Severn, Maryland, formerly of Bradenton, Florida passed away peacefully at home with her son; and his family by her side. Grace was one of six children born in Alabama, New York to Frank Rupert and Edith (Houseknecht) Rupert.  Grace married James Campbell of Batavia, New York in August, 1946 and together they had two children, James Edward Campbell, Jr. and Barbara Ann Cass both of whom survive her.  Grace worked her entire life laboring for giant manufacturers: Sylvania in New York and Motorola in Phoenix, Arizona.  She finished her professional career as a Licensed Real Estate Agent in Bradenton, Florida where she retired in 1989.  Grace enjoyed china painting, camping, fishing, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren; and of course, shopping at Wal-Mart!

Preceded in death are Grace’s parents, Frank and Edith Rupert, brothers, Charles and Frank, sisters, Dorothy, Esther, Beatrice and her grandson, Daniel Campbell.  She is survived by son, James Campbell Jr. (Mary) and daughter, Barbara Cass (Mike), seven grandchildren; Donald,(Kathy), Steven (Brandi), Stuart “aka” Wally, Jamie and Brittany Campbell and Darren Cowherd, 10 great-grandchildren, Kyle, Cody, Wayne, DeAndre, Connor, Lilly, Lucy, Amiyah, Sophie, and Amir and several additional in laws, Nicole Payne, Rebecca Skinner, Stephanie Ruff, and Amanda Wright.  She loved them all dearly.

A memorial service celebrating Grace’s life will be held in spring 2017 in New York.
