On March 18, 2024, Glenn Eldon Angus of Severn passed away at the age of 76. Devoted husband of Vicki L. Angus (nee Hausmann); loving father of Sarah Husak (husband David) and step-father of Jason Little (former wife Constance); adoring grandfather of Alexandra Husak, Miles Little, Melody, Little, and Malachi Little. Glenn is also survived by his cousin Larry Angus and niece Zoe Angus. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Duncan Angus.

Glenn was a classical and jazz violinist and violin teacher. His mother Dorothy Angus (nee Oberg) was a concert pianist, and Glenn began his musical journey at the age of 11 when he learned to play violin. He graduated from Eastern Kentucky University and later earned his master’s degree from John Hopkins University. Glenn was a string music teacher for the Anne Arundel County school system. He was a contract member of the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra from 1970 thru 2014 as well as other orchestras in the greater Baltimore/Washington area. He expanded into playing jazz around 2007, leading his own jazz ensemble, The Glenn Angus Jazz Quartet until the pandemic of 2020. He was a violinist with the Londontowne Symphony Orchestra until his death. His daughter Sarah, also a classical violinist & violin teacher shared her dad’s love of the instrument and music.

In addition to music, Glenn was also passionate about cycling. He was an avid cyclist and had many friends in the cycling community. He rode with various cycling groups and was a recognized member of the Anne Arundel County Trail Blazers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his name to the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra, The Londontowne Symphony Orchestras or Habitat for Humanity.
