On June 26, 2010 Gertrude L. Tarsia passed away at the age of 93 in Crofton Maryland at the Household of Angles. She was born in Connecticut on September 23, 1916. She lived in New York, New Jersey, California, Colorado, and Maryland.
She is survived by her daughter Christine, her son-in-law Robert Tishman, her grandchildren Richard and Cheryl Tishman, and her great grandchild, Elijah.
Gertrude will be buried with her husband Richard Tarsia on July 23, 2010 at the Long Island National Veterans Cemetery. Friends and family have been invited for a small graveside service.
