Geraldine R. Creasy

On June 2, 2016, Geraldine “Gerri” R. Creasy went home to be with the Lord. She was 75.  Beloved wife of the late Leroy H. Creasy; devoted mother of Elbert Royster and his wife Gina; loving sister of Shirley Price, Joan Ann Stewart, and Don M. Royster Sr.;  cherished grandmother of Ryan Giles, Gerald Royster, Erica Royster, and Tiera Royster.  She is also survived by her companion and ‘right-hand’, Mr. Jerry Whiting.  Gerri was predeceased by her siblings William “Dicky” Landis, Pauline “Paula” Royster Jones, Queen Juanita “Nita” Murdock, Rome “Bucky” Royster, and Linwood “Lenny” Royster.  She is also survived by many loving extended family members and dear friends.

Born in Maryland, Gerri lived in Odenton since 1974 and worked at the Fort Meade Commissary. She was an avid reader and also liked playing cards.  A great cook, Gerri enjoyed preparing holiday meals and cooking for special occasions.  She loved being with her family and friends and will always  be remembered for the kind, helpful, and generous woman that she was.
