George S Owen

George Owen, age 77, of Gambrills, Maryland passed away on March 13, 2025.

He was born January 20th, 1948 to George Willard Owen and Lorraine Marie Claeys in Quantico, Virginia.

George owned and was still actively involved in his company Journeyman Mechanical Contractors.

His hobbies included collecting historical military relics, cheering on the Baltimore Orioles, and spending time with his friends and family.

He was a long time member of the Maryland Arms Collectors Association.

He is survived by his wife Melanie Owen, his sister Judy, daughters Heather O’Connor and Erin Cassell, and his grandchildren Owen, Liam and Zoey.

A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday March 20th at 1 pm, followed by a memorial service at 2pm in the chapel of the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. located at 1411 Annapolis Rd. Odenton, MD 21113.
